Friday 8:00h - 18:00h

The main entrance to the facility is located on the ground floor of Building A and is constantly monitored by reception staff who control access to ensure maximum security. This area also contains two offices and a large area for pushchairs, as well as toilets for parents of children or guests.

The entrance gives access to the garden and the buildings housing the nurseries and kindergartens, as well as to the service areas.

The space to the left of the entrance houses four sections, one on the ground floor and two on the first floor. The latter are accessed by an internal staircase and are both linked to the adjacent structure by a security passage.

To the right of the entrance garden, a second structure houses two large sections accessed either from the garden or via an internal corridor.

Each section accommodates different age groups of kindergarten children. All the sections are very bright, thanks to large windows and French windows. They are all secure and have small toilets and a large washbasin at child height.

All the areas of the facility are very bright thanks to the large, secure windows and French windows.

The areas of each section are delimited by fixed or movable partitions that form angles to accommodate the activities specific to each age group in the Barnepark’s educational project.

Each section is linked to a room dedicated to the child's rest. Personal beds with safety bars are used for the youngest children, while low beds or stackable personal beds are used for older children to facilitate their independence. Building D, which is accessed either from the central building or from a second garden, is located to the right of the entrance and is the counterpart to Building A. This area houses two large nursery sections, as well as an art studio and various service areas. To the right of the entrance are the Barnepark M kindergarten and the Barnepark G after-school care centre. In addition to the guarded main entrance, these service areas also have direct access from house number 218 Chuassée de Wavre.

The central building (building C), also on two floors, is dedicated to functional services: a large open-plan kitchen, cloakroom, reception and staff services, baby-feeding room, laundry room, etc. On the first floor, there is a large section for children in their first year of nursery school (aged 3/4). On the roof of the building, there is a vast terrace where children can play.
