Barnepark infrastructures have signed agreements with the European Commission, the Italian Permanent Representation to the European Union, the Italian Permanent Representation to NATO, the Italian Military Representation to NATO and the EU, the Italian Embassy and the Institute of Italian Culture in Brussels.
Pedagogical principles
Our project is called "BARNEPARK", inspired by the name of a thatched-roof house in the middle of a Scandinavian park. The house is furnished with simple, essential accessories: a long table and small chairs, a sink and stove, numerous drawings hanging on the wall, a wardrobe and a small library.

ACTIVITIES
The facility has been divided into separate sections that correspond to the different age groups of the children. Each section consists of different areas where meals, free and structured play, artistic, musical and theatrical activities, etc. take place. Several thematic corners (clothes corner, theatre corner, cooking corner, etc.) and interest centres are located in specific areas of the section.

Barnepark Kindergarten A
Barnpark A crèche is located Chaussée de Haecht 264, 1030 Brussels, not far from Josaphat park and a few steps from Saint-Servais church on Avenue Louis Bertrand. The structure housing the children's home dates back to the 19th century and was renovated in 2010, adapting it to the latest operating and safety standards, while retaining the original features of the historic house.

Barnepark Kindergarten B
The Barnepark B kindergarten at Chaussée de Wavre 214 comprises a series of interconnected buildings. Some of these buildings date back to the late 19th century, while others were built in 2016, when the old ones were renovated to make them ideal for preschoolers and their needs.

Barnepark Nursery School M
The Barnepark M private nursery school is a continuation of the Barnepark A and B nursery schools. The kindergarten project runs in parallel with the Barnepark G after-school project.

After school Barnepark G
We welcome your children aged 48 to 72 months in our Barnepark G after-school center. This educational project runs parallel to the Barnepark M nursery school project, complementing and enriching it on a daily basis.

Our staff
The childcare facilities managed by the Crèche Européenne follow the guidelines of the Barnepark Pedagogical Project. The educational team is made up of staff highly specialized in the early childhood sector. Educators are carefully selected from among those with high-level professional qualifications and significant experience in the sector.

Welcome and safety
At the entrance to our Barnepark Children’s Home, there is a constant presence of reception staff to control access.
Vehicle language
The lingua franca used in Barnepark facilities is French. As we welcome families and children of different nationalities, our staff are able to communicate in several European Union languages, in particular English and Italian.
Tax deduction for childcare costs
Attendance at the Barnepark crèche entitles you to a tax deduction of €14.00 per day of attendance!
